2010 Feb 2 :Nepalese Australian Association (NAA) has announced its first FREE “Job Search Interactive Program” in Sydney. In the recent years, many Nepalis have migrated from Nepal to Australia in search of a bright future and many have taken permanent residency after completing university/vocational qualifications, not all of them are well placed into their prospective job. It has been seen that many Nepalis are unemployed, under-employed and many are struggling even applying for a job. It may be due to lack of understanding of the job market and a proper guidance or increased competition in job market due to global financial crisis. Considering all these aspects, Nepalese Australian Association (NAA) has taken a bold step to help Nepali community members living in Australia find a right job based on their qualifications and skills.
Stating in the press release, Surya Bhattarai, Secretary of NAA said, "This conference offers opportunities for all Nepalis who are new to the Australian workforce and do not yet know where to start searching for a job or those who are already working".
Adding more he has requested to feel free to bring friends or pass the message on to friends who may be interested in attending the conference. For the further queries program coordinator Shree Napit can be contacted at JobSearch@naa.org.au.
