Committee organised assembly of the
people in Ranibas VDC to mark the 32nd Memorial Day of Founder General
Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), Pushpa Lal Shrestha.
Some 40 leaders and cadres of the UCPN (Maoist) and
Nepali Congress (NC) entered the UML at the programme where UML constituency
chair Ganesh Oli was the chief guest.Constituency chair Oli and under secretary
Top Bahadur Khatri, including other party leaders welcomed those joining UML
and provided party membership.
Similarly, sister organization Youth Association
Nepal (YAN) organized a blood donation programme in Putali Bazaar, headquarters
of Syangja district on the occasion of the Memorial Day of Pushpa Lal Shrestha.
Likewise, the half-size statue of Pushpa Lal
constructed in Itahari-7 on the joint initiative of Itahari municipality,
Pushpa Lal Memorial Foundation and CPN-UML was unveiled yesterday. RSS
