Sydney 26 July 2010: A woman and her four young children have escaped injury when shots were fired at their home in Sydney.

Police say the 35-year-old woman was with her children, aged between two and eight, inside their Glebe home when a number of shots were fired about 12.40am today. A man, 19, was also in the inner-city house at the time, police say.

The groups of six were sitting in the lounge room at the time of the shooting, with police later finding bullet holes on the front door and a window.  AAP
