Jhala Nath Khanal said his party was ready to sit in the opposition. Stressing that other parties must chose to install a government without
UML's involvement in the next prime ministerial run-off.
"The job
will not be easy to form a government without UML involvement. If the
government is formed it will be unfortunate," he further said at an
interaction in the capital, urging the Maoists and the Nepali Congress to make
some sacrifice for the sake of consensus. It is the fact that he with drew his
candidacy of PM though he was sure to got 391 vote out of 599 CA members.
Khanal, who had withdrawn his PM candidacy for
failing to show 2/3 majority by his side, also expressed his indignation over
the media for holding the UML responsible for the current political standoff.
"Media are not depicting the situation correctly," added. UML is the third largest party of CA representing 109 members.
