Bara 29 July 2010: Police source of Bara said to nepalaustralianews.com that unidentified group shot dead a Unified CPN (Maoist) cadre Thursday morning.

Keshari Prasad Yadav, resident of Parshuram VDC of the district, was shot at when he was sleeping on the balcony of his house around 2 am today.

Yadav, who recieved two bullets on chest and abdomen, died  on the  way while rushing  to the hospital Bara police said. As a protest against the murder Unified CPN (Maoist) called up on Bara bandh .

Yadav was a member of the Maoists Bhojpura Rajya Samiti. Samyukta Jantantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (Ajad faction) has taken the responsibility of the murder. District coordinator of the Morcha Bikram Singh called up local journalists and owned up the murder.  

Nowadays Bara is being one of the most violated district in the country.

Few days back   Ram Bahadur Bomjon, a youth being popular since 5 years by meditating in the jungles of Bara said that he beat up the villagers for disturbing him while mediating. Mr Bomjon is known as Buddha boy.
